Rational numbers vo numbers hote hain jo p/q ke form mein express kiye ja sakte hain, jahan p aur q integers hain aur q zero nahi hai. Is solution mein hum in numbers ke basic concepts aur NCERT exercises ke solutions ko cover karenge.

Rational numbers ko fractions ke roop mein represent kiya ja sakta hai, jaise ki 1/2, -3/4, ya 5. Ye numbers number line par bhi dikhaye ja sakte hain. Inka use daily life mein bahut jagah hota hai, jaise measurements mein.
Jab do rational numbers ko add, subtract, multiply, ya divide karte hain (except division by zero), to result bhi ek rational number hota hai. For example, 1/2 + 1/3 = 5/6, jo ek rational number hai.
Addition aur multiplication mein rational numbers commutative hote hain. Matlab, a + b = b + a aur a × b = b × a. For example, 2/3 + 4/5 = 4/5 + 2/3.
Is exercise mein rational numbers ki identification aur simple operations sikhaye gaye hain. Example problem: 3/4 aur -5/6 ko add karein. Solution: Pehle LCM find karte hain. LCM of 4 and 6 is 12. Phir, 3/4 = 9/12 aur -5/6 = -10/12. Add karte hain: 9/12 + (-10/12) = -1/12.
Yahan par word problems diye gaye hain. Example: Ek field ka 3/5 hissa cultivated hai. Agar 1/4 hissa aur cultivate kiya jaye, to total kitna hissa cultivated hoga? Solution: Pehle 3/5 aur 1/4 ko add karte hain. LCM of 5 and 4 is 20. So, 3/5 = 12/20 aur 1/4 = 5/20. Total = 12/20 + 5/20 = 17/20.
Rational numbers ko samajhne ke liye, regular practice karna zaroori hai. NCERT exercises ko step-by-step solve karein. Agar koi concept unclear hai, to examples dobara dekhain. Online resources ya teacher se help le sakte hain.
Students often forget that denominator zero nahi ho sakta. Division mein, reciprocal lene ke baad multiply karna yaad rakhein. Negative signs ko handle karte time careful rahein.
Rational numbers class 8 maths ka important chapter hai. Isse aage ke classes mein bhi use karenge. Isliye, concepts ko clear karke practice karein. NCERT solutions se aap confidence build kar sakte hain.
